icy Genting

I went to Genting Highlands on this Friday afternoon with my parent. I can't recall when is the last time I visit this tourist spot with them. I drive all the way up to the highlands and reach this place at 4.30pm. It's raining at Genting and the temperature is low. Seem it's a great getaway from KL hot weather!

When I enter the casino, the security guard asks for my Identity Card. I was a bit shock at the moment. I wonder is my face didn't look like more then 21 or it's my height. ^_^
I gave myself few tried at slot machine but I did not have much luck. No win and no lose. After that, we went to First World Hotel to have dinner.

The food we order is kind of expensive, a plate of rice with three dishes cost RM12. I guess I can get three plates of this food with same price in KL. But we knew that very long ago! It's almost 8pm after dinner and we decided to head back to KL.

sleepless KLIA

It's midnight, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) still in operation. After the dinner at Seremban, we stop by at the airport on the way home. Never been to KLIA at this time, the place is so quiet with some people waiting for their planes. It's a good time to take some pictures!

Seremban's Grilled Crabs

It's almost an hour driving distance to reach this retaurant. Just for the famous grilled crabs. This dish did taste good! So it's worth to do so ;-)

A group picture before leave the restaurant!

After the dinner, we been hang out in few places. Here is one of the spot we visit:

We left this town around 12am...

Have you start feeling sick on my writing regarding interview? You must be wondering why this fellow still didn't get the job offer after been through few interviews (roughly count, 6 for IT and 4 for non-IT). What's wrong with this guy? Is he had a very bad academic result? or is he didn't have any confidence and do not know how to promote himself during the interview? or his english suck? or he is just a stupid dumb dull? Anything you can think of it can be the reason ;-)

But now I had started enjoy the interview. You may think I'm crazy but I learn so much through this process. I still remember my body shakes like a cocktail mixer and I can't even say a proper english word for my very first interview. Besides, I also add a lot of "eh" and "ah" to my sentence. Until now, I gain some much experience, no more "shake your body" movement and can speak quite well. In other words, more confidence! The interviews train me how to think logically and speak right to the point.

Other thing I like about interview is the pretty yet gorgeous interviewers. Observe their reaction like facial expression and body language is so much fun. Try to guess what's in their mind and response accordingly to their favor. Interviewer from different types of companies will have unlikely the same thought, from small to big organizaion and multinational to non multinational organization. That's very interesting!! Some look for self independent staff and some may require employee who able to work as team. So be wise while answer those question ^_^

As long as we are serious, there is no reason to let the interview scare you. So, enjoy it!

welcome to the world of 25th

Happy birhtday to CH & SK. Now both of you had turn to 25! Like it or not, you can't do anything about it...hehehe.
Having dinner with a group of friends is so enjoyable. Although some of our buddies are not able to make it...Sad :-( But I believe we all have a wonderful night with pasta and pizza. Just one complain, some food we order did not taste very well. Hmmm, I think I probably won't go there for third times.

see differently

It's Saturday afternoon, I'm walking aimlessly in Suria KLCC after the interview. But I found something interesting at level 3, an exhibition of the photographic at Petronas Gallery. So I walk in, leave my name, stuck my beg into locker and start the exhibition tour. Inside the gallery, just few visitors walking slowly in the hall, like me. This make the gallery unbelievable quiet compared to the crowded at shopping mall. What a place for some clam and peace.
Photographers for this exhibition are basically from amateur to professional, kids to adults. The young photographer bring innocent into their picture while the professional perform mature photography techniques for their art. Every single piece of art is truly amazing and inspired! What a wonderful afternoon!

How are you?

Recently, a friend asks me this question. This is a very open question, I can simply said "I'm fine" or "I'm good" or "I'm okay". But it's way too simple. So I give a thought before given my answer.

I had attended few interviews within this week, meeting different kinds of people and answer different types of questions. I had my first interview of the week on Tuesday, then two interviews on Wednesday, follow by another interview on Thursday. Luckily I get some rest on Friday! During the interview session, I have been bombarded with all types of questions, from technical to personalities. Those questions are like "Draw a network diagram with firewall for my company?", "How to you see yourself in next 5 years?", "What is your ideal working environment?", "Translate this sentence into Mandarin?" and etc. But the top rated question is "Do you have any question?". In order to give the best answer, I had squeezed my brain so hard. Try to said something meaningful and show I have logical thinking. I believe I had killed a lot of brain cells in these three days. I probably need some chicken soup! Overall, all the interviewer I met were so nice and friendly. At the end of interview, some let me knew the result right on the spot and some ask me to wait. Hmmm...nothing much for me to do then just sent them a thank you note.

So, how am I?
I'm mentally exhausted but it didn't bring me down. I'll keep walking because the journey just started.
